Soul Food with Pastor Tom has been on the air with the exception of about the last two weeks. This will be returning very soon. Our station has been riddled with road hazards since mid-summer. We're working hard to get our station back on the air to serve the people of God. We ask for prayers from all of our listeners as we work to all but rebuild the radio station after construction in our beautiful church. God has, in past weeks, blessed us with a rejuvinating spirit to get His radio station back on the air. I strongly feel that our station, humbly small as it may be, has and will continue to touch the lives of people in Wellington and all around the world. Posted: February 8th, 2009 First Baptist Radio has announced the next step in our journey towards a 24/7 radio station with our newly scheduled weekly and daily programs. The first new program is entitled Soul Food and is hosted by Pastor Tom Thompson. Soul Food is aired every weekday from 12:00 noon to 1:30pm and started airing February 2nd. Within this program is the nationally syndicated radio program entitled "Family Life Today." Family Life Today is a program aimed at helping parents raise a family with Christian Values in todays society. Our other new programs will air every night from 6:00pm to 10:00pm and will include a Christian Music Countdown, a program addressing teen and young adult issues, a program focused on agriculture, a devotional program and many others.
